Lake Texoma Area Hike and Bike Trails

Platter/Lakeside Trail

This 24 mile trail located near Cartwright at Lake Texoma is a multi use trail for hikers and riders.  Numerous vistas overlooking the lake along the trail add interest. Primitive camping is permitted at both ends of the trail, which may be accessed from either the Platter or Lakeside Recreation Areas. Both Platter Flats Camp and Lakeside Camp have boat ramp, picnic area, campsites, drinking water, group shelter, and restrooms

Platter Flats also has an equestrian campground (not restricted to horses) with electric, water. There are future plans to add corrals.
